[i]fdsf: Not so much venting as yawning steam.

Meunier, tu dors
Ton moulin va trop vite
Meunier, tu dors
Ton moulin va trop fort!

Ton moulin, ton moulin va trop vite
Ton moulin, ton moulin va trop fort
Ton moulin, ton moulin va trop vite
Ton moulin, ton moulin va trop fort

Yarr.

I've been kinda burned out the last few weeks. I'm kinda upset with work. I'm anti-social. And there's nothing I'm really excited about in the foreseeable future. And I'm still lonely, tired, and scared.

Normally around now I'd do something to try to force myself out of ye olde shell, such as go on a trip (San Francisco), do something exciting (VCON), or set myself a challenge (NaNoWriMo, host a D&D game, out of my comfort-zone social situation). But I can't seem to get excited about anything. So I'm stuck.

I hope things are groovy for the rest of you.

[i]wolvenone: The Cruds

Well, my youngest sister had it first, now Swine Flu has spread to my other sister and her nieces. Ironically, while I've been showing no flu symptoms whatsoever, a late night bike home from the gym in 30 degree weather the other day has left me with Bronchial Inflammation. In other words, Pre-Bronchitis, which isn't nearly as bad as it sounds. No fever, no weakness, no runny nose, no hacking of flem, just a little cough stemming from irritation within my chest.

I'm treating it seriously though, I don't want it to make the jump to full blown bronchitis. So I'm taking plenty of hot steamy showers, staying out of the cold, taking mega-doses of anti-oxidants in the form of fruit, drinking home made herbal/spice teas, and getting plenty of rest.

It's the latter that's gonna be really tough. Already I'm feeling the urge to go work out. I'm just hoping the inflammation is gone by tomorrow-morning, because the thought of spending the whole day cooped up indoors doesn't appeal to me at all right now.

[i]fdsf: Huzzah!

I just gold-starred a song in Rock Band 2! Not only that, but it was flawless on expert! YAY!

Thank you, Foo Fighters and your song "Learning to Fly"!

Can't believe I didn't blow it. My heart was pounding by the end.

[i]wolvenone: Week in Gaming

(I don't useually post these on my main Journal, but I might as well start.)

Well I'm almost done with Uncharted 2, and its been a very good experience. The train segment was especially stunning and enjoyable, mixing both incredible scenery and action with frantic rapidly changing game play.

In other news, Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time arrived in the mail yesterday. I've yet to give it a run, mainly because I'm still finishing up with Uncharted. I'll share my impressions of the title later this week. Also I went ahead and signed up for Netflix on the PS3, of course it won't be as convenient as it would be on the X-box 360 since I'll have to load a disc, but that should be largely offset by the service being free. I'll let you know how well the service works on the PS3, once I get my paws on the disc

Finally, I went ahead and ordered Metal Slug anthology for the PSP today. Amazon is running a sale on the game for today, and I was able to grab it for eight bucks. I'm quite looking forward to it actually, I've always liked Metal Slug type games, and I've needed more action games for my PSP.

Oh, and I haven't finished Shadow Complex, Uncharted 2 sorta bumped it off the Radar for the time being. However as much as I was enjoying the game there's no way I won't finish.
